Merger and acquisitions

The acquisition and disposal of companies, mergers and corporate restructurings all shape the future of businesses. Missteps in such transactions can be costly. A successful deal is about more than price and contracts – it is about strategy, timing and understanding the commercial, regulatory and operational implications. Due diligence can reveal hidden liabilities or highlight synergies that create value. Regulatory changes may alter the landscape mid-process. A well-structured agreement, with clear warranties and sound risk allocation, can be decisive in maximising the value of an investment.

No two transactions are alike – each requires specialist insight and a tailored approach. At Arntzen Grette, we combine legal expertise with commercial understanding to provide clear and effective support throughout the M&A process.

We advise buyers, sellers, investors and companies in both private and listed transactions – from early strategic planning and structuring, through due diligence, negotiation and completion, to post-deal integration. Our cross-disciplinary teams are adapted to each process and cover all relevant legal and regulatory aspects. We place strong emphasis on close process management and risk control, with clear deliverables at every stage.

As one of Norway’s largest business law firms, we have the capacity and experience to handle large and complex transactions.

The lawyers are accurate, well organised and communicate well. We particularly appreciate their commitment and ability to respond quickly within tight deadlines and short timeframes.
