Pandion Energy completes sale of interests in the Valhall, Hod, Slagugle and Mistral fields

Pandion Energy has completed the sale of its participating interests in the Valhall and Hod fields, as well as the Slagugle and Mistral discoveries, to INPEX Idemitsu Norge AS. Arntzen Grette advised Pandion Energy in the transaction, which represents an important step in the company’s active portfolio management strategy and continued growth.

As announced on 22 July 2025, Pandion Energy entered into an agreement to sell its participating interests in three key assets on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, Valhall and Hod (10%), Slagugle (20%) and Mistral (20%), to INPEX Idemitsu Norge AS. The transaction has now been completed following receipt of the necessary approvals, including from the Ministry of Energy.

Arntzen Grette advised Pandion Energy throughout the process. The transaction covered a total of seven production licences and enables the company to realise significant value, while strengthening its ability to invest in the next phase of portfolio development.

Pandion Energy retains a production base through its 10% interest in the Nova field and continues to mature several attractive discoveries, including Ofelia and Sierra Solberg, towards development.

We congratulate Pandion Energy and all parties involved on the successful completion of the transaction, and thank our client for their trust and confidence.

Arntzen Grette’s core team consisted of Per Dagslet, Karl Erik Navestad and Asgeir Lehmann.
