Christopher advises companies at the intersection of law, technology and innovation. He helps clients manage legal complexity, protect key intellectual property, and structure transactions and partnerships that align commercial goals with regulatory requirements and the context of the specific deal. He believes that what separates ordinary legal advice from great legal advice, is a genuine understanding of the client’s technical and business context — and he invests time developing that insight to deliver tailored, practical solutions.
His work spans the full range of legal issues faced by knowledge- and innovation-driven businesses, advising on deep-tech projects involving artificial intelligence, advanced sensor systems and autonomous solutions, as well as on traditional commercial, licensing and enforcement matters. Christopher frequently leads IP and IT due-diligence teams in M&A transactions, negotiates contracts, and assists clients throughout their value chains — from R&D and product development to supply, sales, distribution and strategic collaborations — ensuring that commercial frameworks support growth and innovation.
Through Arntzen Grette’s international network, he also helps leading global technology companies navigate the Norwegian regulatory landscape. As co-head of our Technology and Innovation team, Christopher is known for clear, pragmatic and technically informed advice that helps clients focus on what they do best; innovate and create value.
