Tobias Behncke

Tobias is a member of the Dispute Resolution & Insurance department. He acts for clients across a broad range of contentious and advisory matters, with particular expertise in corporate disputes, contractual disputes, directors' and professional liability, and insurance.

In the field of professional liability, he acts in cases involving auditors, accountants, lawyers and estate agents. In addition to contentious work, he provides regulatory advice and represents clients in various forms of regulatory supervision within the audit and accounting sectors.

Tobias regularly acts in insurance disputes and advises insurers across a range of contentious and advisory matters.

He also holds a position as Associate Professor at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), where he teaches on the Master's programme in Auditing and Accounting. Tobias is also a co-author of the legal commentary on the Norwegian Auditors Act.

Since 2023, Tobias has been recognised by The Legal 500 as a Rising Star/Leading Associate in Dispute Resolution.
