Founded in 2019, Aider has rapidly grown and established itself as a leading player in accounting and advisory services. The company serves over 9,000 clients and employs more than 1,100 people. Founders Andreas Vik and Knut Grotli will continue in their roles as CEO and Chairman of the Board, respectively.

With Castik as the majority owner, Aider will gain significant access to capital to continue its growth journey, both in Norway and with ambitions to become a Nordic player. Aider has also recently secured long-term financing through a bond issue of NOK 1.6 billion.

Castik Capital acquires majority stake in Aider

Ola works at Arntzen de Besche’s corporate law and M&A department, where he assists both national and international clients in different legal aspects of transactions and reorganizations. 

Ola is an accessible and hard-working resource, easy to collaborate with. As a lawyer, graduated in 2022, Ola has fresh knowledge of current and relevant legislation. During his studies, he specialized in corporate law, through elective subjects and his master's thesis. Ola's thorough knowledge of the law and relevant regulations makes him an important resource in the legal aspects of the transactions.

Adaptive is known for onVisit, a digital reception service that streamlines visitor management and enhances security for businesses across various industries.

As a result, onVisit becomes part of Visma Property Solutions, which delivers business-critical solutions to the property sector. Adaptive will continue as an independent company, maintaining its existing management and brand. The acquisition strengthens Visma’s position in digital property management and paves the way for further development of innovative solutions for the industry.

Adaptive AS joins Visma

Solcellekraft has experienced substantial growth in the assembly and installation of solarpanels for both private individuals and businesses.

DCC is listed on the London Stock Exchange and owns a range of businesses in renewable energy, including those related to biogas, heat pumps, and charging.

After the purchase Solcellekraft will continue to operate as a separate company under its current name and will have access to the knowledge, products, and solutions in DCC's portfolio of renewable energy companies, including comparable solar companies in other European countries. Solcellekraft will become part of the Nordic business unit, Energy and Solutions.

­- To grow both in Norway and internationally, significant financial resources are required. The agreement with DCC will make Solar Power the most reliable provider of solar power in Norway. We will be able to streamline critical processes and strengthen our strategy for innovation in products and solutions," says Nils-Arne Lie, CEO of Solar Power.

Irish investment company DCC plc is acquiring Norwegian Solcellekraft 

DWO is a developer of offshore wind projects with global presence, based in Norway. The company is backed by industrial owners from the shipping/offshore and utility sectors Knutsen OAS, Haugaland Kraft and Sunnhordland Kraftlag.

bp currently operates an onshore wind portofolio in the US with a total generating capacity of 1.7GW. They are also building their global offshore wind presence with a 5.2GW net capacity pipeline.

The joint venture will see bp enter the South Korean offshore wind market through Deep Wind Offshore’s existing presence in the region, which includes a highly capable team in four offices around the country. bp have a 40-year history in the South Korea, including sizeable oil and LNG trading activities and its Castrol lubricants business.

bp's senior vice president of offshore wind, Matthias Bausenwein, stated the following in a press release:

- South Korea is an exceptional market to expand our growing offshore wind footprint. We are very happy to be working with a partner as strong as Deep Wind Offshore, which has managed to build a strong local team and develop these projects in collaboration with a variety of Korean stakeholders. We look forward to developing these gigawatts further so we can integrate these electrons in the wider energy system and help the global and South Korean energy transition.”
