Hoff assists Norwegian and international clients with various forms of dispute resolution, including litigation, negotiations and general business law counselling. He has a broad understanding of business law matters and civil procedure, having successfully handled numerous cases before Norwegian courts, as well as matters involving freezing injunctions and enforcement through the Bailiff.
Hoff has considerable experience in matters relating to contentious insolvency, including preference claims and claims based on transactions at undervalue. Further, he has litigated contractual matters and claims against the Board of Directors pursuant to the Norwegian Limited Liability Companies Act.
Hoff has extensive practical experience, having served as a deputy judge at Romerike og Glåmdal district court. During his time on the bench, he presided over numerous civil cases, including commercial disputes, injunctions, freezing orders, insolvency proceedings and matters pertaining to enforcement. Further, he gained experience handling criminal cases, including fraud, tax evasion and money laundering, as well as motions for coercive measures in criminal proceedings.
Hoff holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Bergen and an LL.M. from King’s College London in International Dispute Resolution.
