Roland Mörsdorf

Roland Mörsdorf assists companies and investors from a number of countries with transactions, restructurings and general advice on Norwegian business law.

Roland is licensed as a lawyer in both Norway and Germany. He assists clients from Switzerland, Germany and Austria with the establishment in the Norwegian market and with other legal assistance. Roland has a strong focus on the clients’ needs and is very accessible to businesses that are unfamiliar with the nuances of the Norwegian market.

In transactions, Roland leads multidisciplinary teams of lawyers from areas such as labour law, energy and tax in connection with due diligence, negotiations and final settlements. He has been involved in the acquisition and sale of hydropower and wind power projects and projects in the oil and gas industry.

Having previously worked in the Netherlands and Germany, Roland speaks English, Dutch, Norwegian and German, and is in every way a true international lawyer. In addition, he has published a number of articles on corporate and international private law topics in Norwegian and German journals, including NTS, RR, RIW and IWRZ. He is also the author of the Norwegian chapter in the legal commentary on international company law and the book on retention of title.
